06-Nov: "Finally myself SM6CVX Hans and friend Stig arrived to Buka at 0100 gmt tuesday 6th of nov.. After very very ruff voyage. Took 54 hrs instead of planned 35 hrs. Will be active , if all ok with accomendations, around 1000 gmt tuesday 6th.From OC-135 Buka island. Will for next Islands OC-135 , OC-025 and OC-240 mainly work 14 mc CW and SSB plus 18 mc and some 24 mc. If location permits, will try some 50 mc from OC-025. 28-Sep: Due to changes in Air Niugini schedules Hans, SM6CVX will operate for one additional day from Loloata Island, OC-240. The last day will be 14th Nov

An international team will visit 6 islands belonging to Papua New Guinea between 19 October and 14 November.
The team will be:
M/V Barbarian will convey the team, starting from Kokopo in New Britain on 18 November sailing via Kavieng to Emirau.
The islands to be activated by the full team will be:
The main team fly home on 6th November. Hans and Stig then continue to Buka on the M/V Barbarian to Buka. The remaining journey will be by air.
